                      MAINTENANCE
Let the bed shape itself to suit you

Hilding beds are made of soft, flexible material which, for example, provides good sleeping comfort. After a period of use, you can notice and see how the bed shapes itself to you and your sleeping position. This is completely natural and neither the function nor the strength of the bed is affected by this adaptation to you and your body.
 Maintenance instructions
Rotate the frame bed and continental base 180 degrees 2 times a year to maintain the original comfort of the bed. On adjustable beds, you can rotate the top mattress. Open the zipper in the sleeping surface. Remove the spring mattress from the cover, turn and twist. Reinstall the cover and close the zipper. Be sure to hold the corners of the upholstery when installing it. All spring mattresses are reversible and rotatable. You should turn your spring mattress 2 times a year to maintain comfort.
For continental beds, it may occasionally be necessary to adjust the separate top mattresses that are in the cover (applies only to two-piece top mattresses), as they can move slightly during use.
To avoid any creaking, bed legs should always be retightened approximately two months after installation and annually thereafter. On hard floors, the legs should be fitted with felt feet or rubber pads.
Adjustable beds have many moving parts and it is normal for the bed to make noise when adjusting. The screws of the structure must be tightened and the joints lubricated regularly and/or as needed to minimize any noise. When lubricating, use sewing machine oil or similar.
Do not sit on the back or footrest in the folded position. Remember that this product is designed to be used for lying down and to be able to sit in a nice and relaxing position. Children should not play with the bed, keep the controller out of reach of children.
Washing the removable cover

Hilding frame and continental beds have removable and washable covers, making it easy to keep your Hilding bed clean and fresh year after year. The top mattress and bottom beds are equipped with a modern micro Velcro strap that ensures the cover stays in place. On the spring mattress, the cover is equipped with a zipper, which makes it easy to take on and off. Avoid fabric softener when washing. Both the fabric and the environment feel good.
 Washing instructions
 Machine wash - removable covers
Removable covers can be washed in accordance with the washing instructions sewn into the bed cover.
Be careful to stretch the cover when wet so that the cover returns to its original fit. It is best to have two people when stretching the cover. NOTE: Do not pull on the seams of the cover.
Foam cleaner - tightly stitched textiles
Covers that are sewn or quilted onto the furniture can be foam washed/cleaned on the outside for the best possible results.

About motors – Adjustable beds
- Check that the motor is connected correctly before using the bed.
 - The motor can only be connected to the mains voltage specified on the motor label, 230 V.
 - An adjustable bed has electrically operated, moving parts. There is a risk of crushing in the bed's openings and linkage system. Play or careless use can pose a risk of injury. It is therefore recommended to keep the hand control out of the reach of children.
 - When working on the bed, the motor must always be unloaded and disconnected from the mains voltage.
 - The exterior of the engine can be cleaned with a well-wrung cloth and mild detergents with a pH value between 6–8.
 - The motors must not be disassembled while the bed is in use.
 - The bed must be fully lowered, i.e. when the engine is at a standstill, before the engine is unloaded. This is a safety measure to prevent the risk of crushing injuries and other incidents.
