It is elastic around the corners, to ensure a good fit around the mattress and to avoid unwanted wrinkles on the sleeping surface. Wool has very good temperature-regulating properties, and works especially well if you like it a little cold in the bedroom. Wool is also naturally antibacterial and stays clean much longer than other textiles. This means that you do not need to wash wool as often as other textiles, and that it stays just as clean when washed at lower temperatures. The mattress protector is breathable. The mattress protector is washable at 40°C.
