Carpe Diem Beds Contour Pocket System
The Contour Pocket System is a patented spring system that works on the surface of the bed. The Contour Pocket System has padding material inside each individual spring, instead of the padding being placed on top of the spring system. The unique spring system allows each individual spring to adapt to the shape of the body and provides exceptional flexibility. Thanks to this, the muscles are allowed to relax and provide a maximally relaxed sleeping position.
Visco Elastic Bottom Layer – a slowly elastic bottom segment
In collaboration with the Spinal Unit at Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg and massage therapists, Carpe Diem Beds has developed a patented slowly elastic bottom segment – Visco Elastic Bottom Layer. The unique bottom segment works deeper into the bed and causes the springs that are most exposed to stress to sink down, instead of pressing against the body. The Visco Elastic Bottom Layer reduces pressure against the body and promotes blood circulation. This allows you to sleep undisturbed for longer periods of time at night, thus maximizing your chances of the coveted deep sleep.

Practical waterproof sheet / fitted sheet that protects the mattress from moisture and spills
- Respira sheets are waterproof and breathable. They breathe 4 times more than traditional incontinence sheets.
- The sheet is tailored and has a 30 cm high skirt that goes down around the entire mattress.
- It looks like a regular cotton sheet so no one will be able to see that you have a so-called "pee sheet" in bed. Also recommended for those who are allergic to mites as the sheet acts as a mite barrier.
- The fabric consists of 100% organic cotton on the top and 100% hyper-breathable polyurethane on the underside.
- The sheet is Oeko-tex certified.
- Respira sheets in white can be washed at up to 95 degrees. Hang to dry with the waterproof side facing down.

Warranty: 25 year warranty
Carpe Diem Beds warranty periods are 25 years on frame and spring breakage, 10 years on motors and 3 years on other electronic products and parts. The warranty does not entitle the customer to replacement goods during the repair period, nor transport to Carpe Diem Beds for repair. Normal weight compression of the upholstery material in the products is not considered a defect.
Right to complain:
According to the Norwegian Purchase Act, you as a consumer always have the right to complain about a product within two years of discovering the defect, provided that the product was defective at the time of delivery. Furthermore, Carpe Diem Beds gives you the opportunity to claim for frame and spring breakage up to 25 years after you purchased the product, and up to 10 years for engine failure when purchasing adjustable beds.
Please note that if you discover a fault with the product you have purchased, whether the fault is discovered immediately upon delivery or at a later date, it is important that the defect is reported to us within a reasonable time after you discovered it, or should have noticed the defect. We therefore encourage the customer to inspect the product particularly carefully upon receipt.
Note: The warranty does not apply to incorrect product assembly.

All furniture from Carpe Diem Beds is manufactured goods where you as the customer choose the design of the product yourself, such as choice of textile, legs, comfort of mattress, etc. Please note that manufactured goods are exempt from the Right of Withdrawal Act and as a buyer you lose the opportunity to cancel your order.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal Act:
Custom-made goods are exempt from the right of withdrawal act. This means that goods that are specially ordered and manufactured according to your specifications cannot be returned. This applies to goods that, for example, have a choice of dimensions, layout, fabric, color, legs and the like.

About Carpe Diem Beds
Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unlikely places – like a bed of heather on a Swedish island. But that’s actually where the idea for Carpe Diem Beds of Sweden came from.
The story of Carpe Diem Beds begins with a young man named Börje Thuleskär deciding to train as a chiropractor. As he learned more and more about physiology and human anatomy, he realized how important good sleep is for both body and soul. At that point, he felt he should make a significant investment in a new bed – of very high quality. And he did. But his initial enthusiasm led to disappointment, when the bed did not meet his expectations.
Then, on a warm and lovely summer day some time later, Börje took a boat to Stora Kornö, which is an island off the coast of Lysekil. It was an idyllic place, where light and colors cascaded down the rocky cliffs and into the mirror-clear water. Here he anchored. The water surface sparkled and the sun shone bright and warm when he stepped ashore. He walked barefoot up onto the rocky cliffs and lay down on some soft heather. Everything was quiet as it can only be in nature and not a person to be seen. The heather supported him and shaped itself to his body. This is where the idea behind Carpe Diem Beds was born.
Today, Carpe Diem Beds develops and manufactures continental beds, frame mattresses, adjustable beds and bed accessories of the highest quality for the premium segment.
Carpe Diem Beds' patented Contour Pocket System is the result of years of experience and research combined with a passionate interest in constantly finding the most pressure-relieving properties of the bed. Without compromising on quality or reliability, CARPE DIEM BEDS has now improved the technology of pocket springs in their spring system, by focusing on a system consisting of individual coil springs. Normally, the padding is placed above the spring system. In this patented spring system, CARPE DIEM BEDS has padded each coil spring separately. This maintains the effect of each coil spring against the body, and we are happy to say that the difference is significant.

All our beds are Nordic Ecolabelled and meet strict environmental requirements that apply throughout the life of the bed. We only use high-quality materials – Talalay latex and fabrics with the OEKO-Tex® label, organic cotton and goose down from suppliers who respect animal welfare. The wood in our bed frames comes from responsibly grown and eco-labelled forests.
All Carpe Diem Beds beds are hand-built in Sweden by our qualified bed builders. We use only the best materials – Nordic pine, fabrics from Designers Guild and The Romo group and organic cotton.
