At Fatboy, we create our own versions of old favorites for your home and garden. We translate the essence of iconic designs with a twist – and full of inventiveness. With every detail, we look for the fun in functionality. From the label on Edison the Petit to the buttons on the back of The BonBaron, everything has a function. And it takes months of design, testing and improvement. We do this with our own design team and designers who share our vision. Together, we work on new classics of the highest quality – all with the aim of letting people enjoy them for many years to come.

At Fatboy, we design timeless products made from excellent materials and with a focus on sustainable quality. Our big goal? We strive for as much circularity as possible, and we get a little better at it every day. That means we design and make products that are easy to maintain and repair and that can be recycled. Whenever possible, our products are made of modular components that can be replaced or grow with you. We are always challenging ourselves to create less waste and reduce our impact.

Enjoy your Fatboy items forever, you can easily maintain and repair them when they are broken. Our products are made of modular components that can be easily replaced or grow with you.

We make products to fall in love with and never let go. With strong construction and materials that can take a beating. And if something breaks, you can easily fix it yourself.

We also design as modularly as possible, so you can adapt your furniture to your needs. Enlarge, reduce, a new cover or new filling: in the future you should be able to give any Fatboy product an eternal life.

REDUCE AND RECYCLE

Smart choices are made for our products; easy to take apart and recycle. And made from durable and more sustainable materials.

Step by step, we are moving towards more sustainable materials, always choosing the most durable option. We also use materials that are easy to separate and recycle. We design our products in such a way that you can easily take them apart. Without glue or other adhesives, we ensure that the parts are not permanently connected to each other.

A STEP AHEAD IN SUSTAINABLE SACKBAGS

Both the recycled original Slim Cord and Royal Velvet beanbags from Fatboy bring innovation to the market. Alongside their recycled fabric, they are filled with approximately 3,543,898 revolutionary, ultra-light beads made from recycled packaging material. A true first in the industry. This way, relaxing is not only stylish, but also a little more sustainable.

CHANGE THE CHAIN

We ask ourselves: ‘how can Fatboy reduce its impact and footprint?’ This is based on understanding our footprint and gathering as much knowledge as possible about the lifespan and impact of the materials we use. We then work with our suppliers and at our own locations to minimise waste and reduce energy consumption.

We also produce what can be produced close to home in the Netherlands, this includes the contents of our duffel bags, the large lampshades on our Edison the Grand, Giant and Medium as well as a large part of our packaging. What has to come from afar is shipped by boat and is flat packed. In addition, we are always finding new ways to reduce packaging.

We make smart choices about what to do with our leftover materials, which is how our new collection of bags came about, for example.

At Fatboy, we don't want to pretend to be ahead of the curve, but by weaving sustainability into our DNA, we take another step forward every day and in no time we will be able to say: You've come a long way, baby!

DELIVERY

Standard delivery time:

Approx. 1-3 weeks. Due to high demand for Fatboy products, delivery times may vary. We will update you with the delivery time after the order has been placed, so you have the option to cancel in the event of a long delivery. You can also contact us prior to purchase and we will check the delivery time.

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION:
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned to the seller without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date of notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal. The buyer covers the direct costs of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed. The seller cannot charge a fee for the buyer's exercise of the right of withdrawal. The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging.

This purchase is governed by standard terms and conditions for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. Consumer purchases over the Internet are mainly regulated by the Contracts Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Marketing Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act and the E-Commerce Act, and these laws give the consumer inalienable rights.
